For general contractors with 10 to 200 subs

Stop chasing subs for insurance certificates. We do it for you.

Forward each sub's COI to one email address. We log the expiry date, then email and call the sub until the renewed certificate is in hand. You get one Monday email: who is current, who is expiring, who is out.

Sample Monday email
Three sample rows from a Monday status email: sub, certificate expiry, status, and what Coverdue did.
SubCert expiresStatusWhat we did
Rivera Electric Nov 12 Current Renewed cert in hand. Nothing to do.
Peak Roofing Oct 2 Expiring in 11 days Called Tue, agent sending renewal.
Delta Plumbing Sep 14 Out Called twice, no cert. Your call on payment.

Sound familiar?

  • The sub swears they sent it. It is not in your inbox.
  • The cert expired in March. You found out in May, by luck.
  • Renewal season eats your Thursday mornings.

You forward. We chase. You get one email.

  1. Forward any certificate.

Email the PDF to certs@coverdue.com. We log the expiry date and coverage lines. A person checks every date before it counts.

  2. We chase until it lands.

Reminders to the sub at 30, 14 and 7 days, under your name. If they ignore email, we call. If the agent is slow, we call the agent. We stop when the new certificate is in hand, not when the reminder is sent.

  3. One Monday email.

Current, expiring, out. Each "out" row says what we did and where it stands, so you can decide about payment in ten seconds.

Sample reminder email
  • Goes out under your name, from one address.
  • 30, 14 and 7 days. Then we call.
  • No portal. The sub just replies.

Reminder software is free. That is not what you pay us for.

Free tools read the date and send emails. Then the sub ignores the email and the tool marks it "reminder sent." You are back to chasing. Coverdue picks up where the reminder stops.

Questions

Who are you, and why would I send you my subs' insurance documents?

Coverdue is run by [name] in [city]. Phone and email are on this page. Your files sit in encrypted US storage, are never shared, and are deleted the same day you ask. A COI is the document your sub already hands to anyone who asks for it; we simply hold it and track it.

What if the AI reads a date wrong?

Software reads the PDF first. A person checks every date before it goes on your Monday list. You see the date next to the certificate and can correct it in one reply. We never chase a sub on a date no human has looked at.

My subs will ignore you.

Some ignore an email. Fewer ignore a phone call. Fewer still ignore a Monday email that tells you their cert is out before their next check. We email at 30, 14 and 7 days, then call the sub, then call their agent. If it is still out on Monday, you know exactly what we did, and you decide about payment.

Do my subs need to sign up?

No. No portal, no login. They reply to an email or send the PDF.

Do you check that the coverage is right?

We track expiry dates and get the renewed certificate to you. We do not judge whether a sub's coverage is enough for your job. That is between you, your contract, and your insurance agent.

Can I cancel?

Yes, by email, any time. We delete your files on request.
